During the cold winter months I always like to reminisce about the summer biking. It’s easy to forget what it was like biking in shorts and T-shirts, in dry sunny conditions. I was looking back at some of the photos I was lucky to take as I was biking in the sun. Here are some of my favourites.
Using my Garminapp I constructed a really good loop across terrain I'd not been on before. This was taken along the Blackwell Trail going towards Alfreton. The sun was beaming through the trees lighting up the trail ahead.
On the same Blackwell Trail I managed to grab a shot if the sun beaming through the bushes to the side of me. The Blackwell Trail not only has enclosed trail scenery but it has lots of open landscape views. Great to capture on a sunny day.
Closer to home is the Bridleway heading west. I caught it on a perfect sunny morning. Just as I came over the brow of the hill I spotted this cracking photo.
This was taken on a Duskride. I started in the sun of the day but as I hit the Fellythe sun had gone and Dusk had set in showing a different version of the felly.
On the final mile of the clockwise route around the Carsington Waterlake you’ll get to see this picture. In the sun its even better.
All I can say is roll on the Summer so I can get out and capture more stunning pictures.
