During the cold winter months, I always like to reminisce about the summer biking. It’s easy to forget what it was liking biking in shorts and T-shirts, in dry sunny conditions. I was looking back at some of the photos I was lucky to take as I was biking in the sun. Here are some of my favourites.
This was taken on a beautiful day. It was one of those heat wave weeks for the UK. I got out on the bike as much as possible and got some amazing shots. Here I was passing through the Felly wood on the way to Moorgreenand noticed how stunning it looked.
This was taken on an early morning ride as I passed through Thieves wood on my way from Newstead Abbey. I looked right and picked up the sun flicking through the trees so took a picture, as you do.
A lovely flowing trail that passes through Harlow wood. Always a picturesque view in the summer when its dry and the trees are blooming.
This was taken on one of my favourite longer routes that passes by Codnor Castle. I had just finished a long climb and stopped to take in the view. As I was walking back to my bike, I thought how cool it looked so took a snapshot.
Taken on route 6 just before entering the Clumber Parkestate. As you may notice I love photos of the trees soaking up the blazing sun.
All I can say is roll on the Summer so I can get out an capture more stunning pictures.
