During the cold winter months, I always like to reminisce about the summerbiking. It’s easy to forget what it was liking biking in shorts and T-shirts, in dry sunny conditions. I was looking back at some of the photos I was lucky to take as I was biking in the sun. Here are some of my favourites.
This was taken on one of my favourite longer routes that passes by Codnor Castle.I had just finished a long climb and stopped to take in the view. As I was walking back to my bike, I thought how cool it looked so took a snapshot.
A lovely flowing trail that passes through Harlow wood. Always a picturesque view in the summer when its dry and the trees are blooming.
I love this photo. I came out of the woods to the field on a hot summerday in the middle of a mini-UK heatwave. The sun hit me, so I took a panoramic view of the field, and it came out with this amazing photo.
This trail is fantastic in the summer. The crops brush against the legs as you fly down the hill through the field. Not only that, it looks pretty awesome when you exit the wood to see the trail for the first time.
This was taken on a beautiful day. It was one of those heat wave weeks for the UK. I got out on the bike as much as possible and got some amazing shots. Here I was passing through the Felly wood on the way to Moorgreenand noticed how stunning it looked.
All I can say is roll on the Summer so I can get out and capture more stunning pictures.
